Amy Klobuchar is one more far-leftoid Senator from California attempting to curtail free speech.
Everyone remembers Diane Feinstein, but not everyone remembers Barbara Boxer. All three senators wanted the government to regulate who could be a blogger or news reporter.
Boxer wanted bloggers to be certified before they could publish online.
This was a big issue for me a decade ago. Back in 2012 or so, I had a much larger online following and I kept getting accounts banned on Facebook and Twitter for the most minor things.
No sane person wants the government to regulate speech like this, do they?
Reporter Matt Taibbi called this out recently on his blog Racket News.
He also made fun of the fact that the Lame Stream Media continues to promote Klobuchar as some comedic icon.
She is not funny. We know she’s not funny. The biggest organization promoting the idea that she somehow funny is NPR.
Has NPR ever said anything funny?
No. No, they have not.
Yet for some reason these politicians seem more than willing to make weak attempts at humor on the campaign trail.
Is this the Donald Trump effect?
Some do not understand that Trump runs his rallies like a stand-up comedy routine.
His opponents often think he’s being serious when he’s clearly joking around.
Joe Rogan complimented Trump a while back on his comedic ability and stage presence.
After Democrats spent years criticizing Trump for “mean tweets” and uncouth humor it seems they are pursuing the exact same strategy.
Whatever works, right?
Too bad for them there’s nobody quite like Trump.
Telling Amy Klobuchar to run out stage to tell the same exact joke dozens of times, across the entire country, is a failing strategy.
But, we already knew Democrats love failing.
And the only joke they can pull off is trotting senile Biden out there for another election cycle.
Amy Klobuchar Sucks at Free Speech
Matt Taibbi is very pissed at her. He did an article about it on his Stack.
Klobuchar has been a “party over country “ Democrat for as long as I can remember
